Finding Your Self-Worth in the Scriptures

Posted on

Ever since I was young I have struggled with low self-esteem. I have no reason to be self-conscious of what I look like or how I talk or even what people think of me, but I fail miserably. However, My identity is in Christ, but the devil can creep into our minds in the most subtle ways that you don’t even know it is him.  He can make you feel like nothing and really question ourselves. When I start feeling like this I start to believe it sort of and then sometimes question God why? That is where these 10 verses are extremely uplifting and points my thoughts upon Him instead of myself and how the world thinks of me. Thankfully I have a wonderful support system I know will guide me through my insecurities. They are the ones who turn me towards Christ and ultimately the Holy Spirit is drawing me closer!

Finding Self-Worth through the scripture and not through what the world tells you who you are!

Hide these verses in your heart. Trust in what God says of who you are. (I’m preaching to myself) If possible write them down on a post it note and place them where you can see it. Maybe in your planner or on your makeup mirror. Somewhere you can see it daily. We are God’s creation and he made you beautiful and worth everything to Him.
